Thanks for visiting our website - we are Matthew Henry Evangelical Church, and we're based in Blacon (Chester UK).

​We're a group of ordinary people from all kinds of backgrounds.
We're made up of all sorts of ages and we all come with different stories -
but we're one big family because of what God has done.

We'd love to see you on a Sunday morning!  
​Our start time is 10.30am and there are some midweek meetings.

​Life Explored is an informal and relaxed seven week course. It's for anyone who wants to find contentment and happiness in life. It's run by ordinary Christian people local to you and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any questions you like, or you can just sit and listen.

Whoever you are, whatever you're thinking, Life Explored is a place for you to discover the greatest gift in the universe.
